Born and raised in France, Frank Marciniak, the
Executive Chef at Café’ des Amis in Parkville, Missouri,
gained his associates degree in traditional French
cooking in France followed by a 2 year internship at the
three star hotel, Aigl Noir. Frank moved to the United
States eleven years ago and joined Café des Amis as the
executive chef 3 years ago. By serving authentic French
cuisine and employing French servers, both Frank and
Dider, owner of Café des Amis, strive to bring the
traditional French dining experience to their customers.
“I work with local farmers to procure the freshest
ingredients for my dishes,” Frank explained. “Then I add
my freshly prepared sauces and demiglaze sauces to bring
out all of the best flavors.”
