Classically French trained at the Culinary Arts Program
of Johnson County Community College, Mark Juhnke serves
as Sous Chef to the Chef de Cuisine at the Grand Street
Café in Kansas City, Missouri. Before joining the Grand
Street Café, Mark worked at the Raphael Hotel for 5
years. Mark feels strongly about supporting local
independent producers. “Local foods provide wonderful
flavors,” Mark said, “and we should keep the money in
the local area.” Mark’s specialties are light, fresh
summer entrées and home-style meals with a gourmet
touch.
