Clean Water Farms Whole Farm Planning Project

The Kansas Rural Center’s Clean Water Farms Whole Farm Planning project is offering Kansas farmers and ranchers in high-priority watersheds in northeast and southeast, and south central Kansas cost-share funds to implement management-based practices or management systems that will protect or improve water quality on their farms.

Completion of the River Friendly Farms Environmental Assessment tool and whole farm action plan is necessary to be eligible for the cost-share funds. 

Rainbow Organic Farms and other Good Natured Family Farm Alliance have completed or are currently participating in the River Friendly Farms Environmental Assessment.
