Experience
the nutrient dense, rich flavor of bison. All of our
bison are field raised and grass fed to maintain the
highest nutritional quality. Bison meat is low in fat,
low in cholesterol and low in calories. It contains 3 to
6 times more omega-3s than grain fed animals. Grass-fed
bison also contains the highest concentrations of CLA
(conjugated linoleic acid). Studies are showing that CLA
has the potential to reduce obesity, diabetes and the
risk of cancer. In addition, bison contains more Vitamin
E, beta-carotene and selenium than grain fed beef. Cook
this sweet, dark meat just as you would beef. Because
bison is low in saturated fat, be sure to use low heat.
Simple cooking techniques with minimum seasoning
preserve the delicious taste.
